JYJ Jaejoong and Super Junior Siwon Are True Actors
JYJ member Kim Jaejoong and Super Junior member Choi Siwon have both left their ‘K-Pop idol’ titles behind and transformed into true actors.
Kim Jaejoong makes his film debut with “Jackal is Coming” also known as “Code Name: Jackal” where he appears as a top star next to a female killer. He exceeded expectations by acting in a comedy and breaking through his charismatic and mysterious image.
In order to live, he will tell the killer played by Song Ji Hyo that he’s not the real star and will show off incredible amounts of slapstick comedy for an idol star. He will try to make himself look fatter and style his hair in the strangest ways in order to make her and the viewer’s laugh.
Choi Siwon is going much the same route. He plays a complete moron of a star in SBS’ Mon/Tues drama “The King of Dramas.”
His first appearance was impressive from the start. He’s loved by the public for his amazing good looks and his dramatic eyes but in real life, he’s all about the money and completely self-absorbed. He is addicted to video games and in truth he’s much more human than people thought.
Choi Siwon has previously been in more serious dramas so people are really enjoying this new transformation and is getting positive reviews from the public.

I agree that both Jaejoong and Siwon are becoming marvelous actors. I am happy for them both. Congratul;ations JJ on what is proving to be a comedy that is a reflection of that zany sense of humor you possess.
However, never one to hold back my opinion on most things–I have to say that there are other marvelous actors that have emerged from the K-Pop/ J-Pop ranks. Among them are Park Yoochun, Kim Heechul, Kim Kibum, Shim Changmin, Kim Junsu, Kim Hyun Joong, Jung Yunho, Jun Matsumoto and many more. I think that it is important to acknowledge them all in an industry that expects K-Pop/ J-Pop stars to make awful actors.
BTW. Choi Siwon has a much deeper approach to life than is pictured here. Follow him on Twitter to get a glimpse at his priorities.
