I recently had something happen in my life that caused me to reflect on how gracious God is in granting us life and protection. While riding as a passenger with my youngest daughter we were back-ended by a municipal bus. The car was totalled and we escaped with the usual whiplash, back pain, and knee contusions. We were riding in a small Ford Escort, and the damage was astronomical. I am truly grateful that we are alive, and many have voiced astonishment that we are. I thank God for his protection and care.
